The Cape and Islands Career Center Story

MassHire-Cape and Islands Career Center serves youth ages 16 – 24 and adults of all ages who are seeking employment and employers who are looking to hire talent.

Most of the services provided are prepaid by our tax dollars. As a result, it costs job seekers and employers nothing to take advantage of these services. To benefit from these services, all a job seeker or employer needs do is become a member of MassHire-Cape and Islands Career Center.

Our Management Team:

Basic Job Seeker Member Services

  • Resource Room – provides job seekers an opportunity to conduct a job search via the Internet, prepare cover letters and resumes using a self-paced software program, complete online job applications and attach your resume; copy resumes using a copy machine; send a resume via FAX or set up a job interview by telephone. In addition, job seekers can attend a variety of job search workshops to assist them in their effort to find employment. These services are available at NO CHARGE to the job seeker!
  • Job Search Workshops – all job search workshops are considered basic services. Advanced registration is required. Members can register online to attend a workshop at the career center by logging in to masshire-cicc.com or they can register in person or by calling (508) 771-5627.

Online Member Portal

  • View Job Search Workshops Online – members can view certain job search workshops via our member portal at masshire-cicc.com. As long as members complete the webcasts, they will be credited with having attended that workshop and won’t have to attend in person.
  • Online Scheduling – members can now schedule appointments online with a career counselor, Veterans’ Representative, or Business Services Representative; schedule to take a workshop or schedule to attend a career center event at masshire-cicc.com.
